Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Pre-Shipment Inspections are the most common and most effectives, in order to that confirm the whole shipment’s quality level.
A Pre-Shipment Inspection is a systematic check of units selected through a random sampling process from the whole order, taking place, when it has reached at least 80% of being completed.
Why is it necessary?
Considering how common is to find differences between the initial requests and the final product, it could be very important to perform a deep inspection before shipment, which allows to compare what it is being received with the requested quality requirements , based on the standards of the destination market.
